TV t.o.k: It's Showtime to simulcast on GMA and GTV

Welcome to the first article version of TV t.o.k, when I cover the Technicality/ies, Opinions, and knowledge about your favorite Kapuso, Kapamilya, Kapatid, or any other TV shows here in the Philippines, and possibly worldwide.

It is refreshing to see the news of ABS-CBN's longest-running noontime show to be aired on other TV networks such as GTV. Kinda ironic, isn't it? And for the announcement of simulcast according to a report from Philstar.com

After TAPE INC.'s "Tahanang Pinakamasaya" went on an abrupt end, because of funding issues from the producers themselves. It is now airing movies called "Lunchtime Movie Hits" after the vacancy, Before "Eat Bulaga!" was dominating the noontime show space.

The Technicality of it is, of course, a Kapuso is adding on a roster of talents in their side, because it is technically a Kapuso show, right?

Also, the best bet is to add the most pioneer people in the show business, like there's a background in a noontime show that's well known to people and a great communicator as well, not just the host but the audience as well. Because you know the host of Showtime, it is on overtime galore before which in some cases: is still airing at 4 pm. So they need to make this just fun and refreshing for everyone.

Also, there are rumors that Micheal V. will also come back on noontime if It's Showtime will air on GMA. If Micheal V. were a regular host of the show, it would be like "Bubble Gang" all over again but live. Also, add Vice Ganda to the mix and it is a riot in a good way. I know that he doesn't have an interest, but only time will tell.

Also, the best addition to the cast is Bianca Umali, we've seen her on "It's Your Lucky Day" and "Tahanang Pinakamasaya" already, so it is also a great team. But, imagine "It's Showtime" and "It's Your Lucky Day" on the same turf, GMA and GTV alongside "Eat Bulaga!", this will be fun at the very least. But I've seen a simulcast rather than a rivalry.

The knowledge that I've seen in this report is just TV shows can change. Even "Eat Bulaga!" which is the longest-running noontime variety show in existence in the Philippines on GMA was just booted up and went to TV5.

I think that this mess after TP's disappearance on the air is still an understatement of what happened in the entertainment industry as a whole. Something can change, and it will happen at a fast rate because showbiz is a very volatile business.
